Itinerary
On the first day of your **5-day tour in North Morocco**, we will pick you up from your accommodation, the airport, or the port in Tangier, also known as “the bride of the north.” This city is situated in the northwest where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel. We will begin by exploring the beautiful city of Tangier, including the Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel. Afterward, you will have free time for lunch. Then, we will drive inland to Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the scenic Rif mountains, with stops for panoramic views along the way. You will spend the night in a hotel in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, we will explore Chefchaouen, the renowned blue city. Also known as Achaoun, meaning "horns" in Berber, this picturesque city is situated in the Rif mountains of northwest Morocco. It is famous for its blue and white painted buildings and alleyways. We will stroll through its charming old Medina, filled with beautiful, authentic blue doors that will add a stylish touch to your photos. Afterward, you will have free time for lunch. After exploring the ruins, we will drive 30 km to visit Meknes, one of the imperial cities and the Ismaili capital. In Meknes, we will visit Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, the Granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Finally, we will head to Fes for an overnight stay in a riad.
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes to explore this imperial city, which is also the cultural and religious heart of Morocco. We will start the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate, followed by a tour of the well-preserved medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enter the old Medina through the Blue Gate, or Bab Boujloud, accompanied by a local guide. Highlights of the Medina tour include the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and the Quaraouin Mosque and University—the oldest university in the world. After exploring the Medina, we will visit the Jewish quarter, known as the Mellah. Finally, we will drive to an ancient fortress for panoramic views of the Medina and the city of Fes. We will then return to your riad for the night.
In the last day of your 5 days in Northern Morocco, we leave Fes after breakfast. Then drive to Rabat one of the imperial cities in Morocco, and the current capital. It is located on the northwest of Morocco. You will visit the Highlights of the city, including : the Hassan tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and also The Kasbah of Oudaya. Free time for lunch, then we head to Casablanca the economical center of Morocco. Depending on your flight time. We might visit the Hassan II mosque the largest mosque in Morocco. Finally, we drop you off at airport. End of the tour.
