Our adventure begins with a visit to the vibrant city of Casablanca before venturing to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and Meknes, the Ismaili capital. We then continue to Fes, renowned for its cultural significance and historical landmarks.
Heading south, we’ll explore the picturesque Switzerland of Morocco, Ifrane, and the serene cedar forests. Our journey also includes visits to Midelt, the Ziz Valley, the traditional market of Rissani, and Erfoud, known for its fossil treasures.
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy camel rides, spend a night in a luxurious desert camp, and witness the mesmerizing sunset and sunrise over the dunes.
Continuing our exploration, we’ll visit the Todra and Dades Gorges, as well as the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Our journey culminates with a scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, before reaching the vibrant city of Marrakech.

We'll pick you up from the airport, port, or your accommodation in Casablanca, known as the economic center and the largest city in Morocco. Our first stop will be the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, situated on the west coast of the city, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from a promontory. You'll have free time for lunch before we delve into exploring the city, including a visit to the breathtaking Corniche of Casablanca. Finally, you'll enjoy an overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, we depart from Casablanca to explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Volubilis boasts remarkable preservation, with beautiful mosaics, ancient pillars, and archways scattered throughout the site. After immersing ourselves in the history of Volubilis, we continue our journey, driving 30 km to reach Meknes, one of Morocco's imperial cities and the Ismaili capital. In Meknes, we visit the iconic Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, each offering unique insights into the city's rich heritage. After our exploration of Meknes, we head to Fes, where we will spend the night in a Riad, allowing you to relax and rejuvenate after a day filled with historical wonders.
After breakfast, we embark on a scenic journey southwards through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, renowned for its cool temperatures, snowy landscapes, and charming alpine-style architecture, earning it the moniker "the Switzerland of Morocco." Continuing our adventure, we proceed to the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques. You're welcome to feed these friendly creatures as you explore the forest. Next, we head to Midelt, where we'll pause for a leisurely lunch break. Afterward, our journey continues towards Merzouga, passing through the picturesque Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the breathtaking Ziz Valley, with stops along the way to soak in panoramic views. In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara desert of Merzouga, where you'll embark on a camel ride across the sandy dunes, capturing the mesmerizing sunset from atop a high dune. Finally, we reach our camp, a harmonious blend of traditional nomadic tents and luxurious amenities. Here, you can immerse yourself in the rhythmic beats of Berber drums, dance around the campfire under the star-studded sky, and savor a delicious dinner before retiring for the night in the camp.
### 4th Day: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise in the heart of the desert. After enjoying some free time for breakfast, you'll return on camelback to Merzouga, where your driver awaits. Our journey continues as we depart from the desert to explore Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet, which remains a bustling trading center in the region. Stroll through the vibrant Rissani souk before we proceed to Erfoud, where we'll visit one of the workshops specializing in fossilized marble. Next, we drive through the picturesque palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorges. Carved by the Todra River, these majestic red cliff-sided canyons offer an ideal playground for rock climbers. Take some time to wander through the gorges and marvel at the stunning landscape. Afterward, enjoy some free time for lunch at a local restaurant before we continue our journey to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. Along the way, we'll make inevitable stops at the "monkey fingers" rock formation and for a breathtaking view of the Dades Valley. Finally, we'll conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel, allowing you to relax and unwind after a day filled with exploration and adventure.
Concluding our journey, we head towards Kalaa Magouna to explore the enchanting Rose Valley, known for its annual Rose Festival in May, where locals showcase their rose products. Continuing through the scenic palm groves of Skoura, we arrive in Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios where renowned movies were shot. Our next destination is the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historic site has served as a backdrop for numerous films and TV series, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and Game Of Thrones. As our adventure draws to a close, we journey through the breathtaking Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the majestic High Atlas Mountains, making stops for lunch and photo opportunities at captivating viewpoints along the way. Finally, we reach Marrakech, where we bid you farewell, either at the airport or your accommodation, marking the end of our memorable 5-day Morocco tour.
